Our Classes
From basic technique, to vocabulary, pehe, and choreography, our classes prepare dancers for both performances and competitions throughout the year. Placement into these classes beyond the beginner level is made by invitation, based on level and readiness, determined by our Ra'atira, Aunty Janice Minabe.

Merahi
Our beginner class for tamari'i ages 4-10. Through movement, rhythm, and music, they will learn:

Come Prepared
Hair
Up in a high bun, out of your face. We want to see your beautiful smile!
Wear
Black t-shirt or tank top. Pareo/Sarong (also black if possible)​
Body
Plenty of water, deodorant, & a small sweat towel
Trial Classes
We offer one free trial class with Merahi or Manutea per dancer. All dancers must be enrolled to receive their trial.​​
Class Levels
Following your free trial, Aunty Janice will determine whether it will be appropriate to adjust based on your level, age, or as she sees fit. Trials are only applicable to Manutea and Merahi classes.
Private Lessons

Private Lessons are offered for enrolled TRN dancers only.​

Reservations for private lessons must be made directly with Aunty Janice in person, over the phone, or through email. She will determine an instructor she deems appropriate.

Reservations may be canceled over the phone or by email at least 24 hours before the start of your private. Private lessons cancelled after the 24 hour cancellation window will be charged at full price for the missed service.
